Germany. "When I woke up ready to shoot, I was greeted with a wall of fog that seemed to shatter any hopes I had of partly cloudy skies and perfect lighting. Nevertheless, I ventured out to see if a moody shot was in my midst. What I found exceeded what I had hoped. While driving, a rocky ridge caught my eye engulfed in a thick fog that showed no sign of lifting. Still, I waited with my tripod set. About to pack up, the fog slowly but surely began to snake its way back behind the mountain creating the perfect clearing for a thin line of trees to emerge; cutting the fog with their rough edges. What started out as a gloomy day, ended as a successful expedition into the mist of the mountains."
