What is the difference between aluminum and acrylic?
Both high end options for a stunning and crisp photographic print and a modern look, the differences in appearance can be subtle. Though they look similar, aluminum and acrylic have very different properties. Aluminum is lightweight, thin, and virtually indestructible. Acrylic face mount is much heavier, thicker and must be handled with great care, but arguably a more high end presentation. Click here for a detailed media comparison: Media Options Explained
